THIS SITE WILL BE PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Dear followers and those who have liked our posts,

Thank you so much for your support throughout this journey.
I am here to let you know that this site will be no longer updated.
The main collaborator, HJ, had moved on to her next life.

We have started this blog aiming to show that we can aim for a mutual understanding whilst acknowledging the differences. I felt there are so many cultures and sometimes, being a human, I was caught in the fog of cultures. Through the converstaion with HJ, I have learned these were all the reasonings and excuses I have gave myself to not trying to understand another person. HJ had continuously challenged my beliefs and perspectives I had accumulated in my life.

HJ had taught me many valuable lessons of life.
One of the significant lesson was “Life is more colourful than I allowed it to be in black and white.”
Some of her favourite phrases are:
“What if not…?”
“Why?”
“What’s the purpose?”

HJ questioned me so many times what is good? or bad? what if it can be neither?

Thank you HJ.
Your lessons will stay with me for the rest of my life.
I will catch up with you in your next life time.

The experience of losing a loved one impels us toward a deeper understanding of life. Everyone fears and is saddened by death. That is natural. But by struggling to overcome the pain and sadness that accompanies death, we become sharply aware of the dignity and preciousness of life and develop the compassion to share the sufferings of others as our own.
